Avalanche Foundation Launches Ted Yin Grant Program to Expand Open Source Technology Development
The Avalanche Foundation is proud to launch the Ted Yin Grant Program in recognition of the contributions Maofan “Ted” Yin has made to the Avalanche public blockchain ecosystem through his work as a computer scientist.
The Ted Yin Grant Program will advocate for and fund the development of open source software projects building on the Avalanche public blockchain, contributing to the ecosystem around the Avalanche public blockchain, and/or otherwise benefitting public, permissionless blockchains.
“It is an honor to have this grant program in my name and dedicated to my passion for open development,” said Yin. “Open source software has been vital to the growth of blockchains to-date, and will be the most important catalyst for these technologies to reach mass adoption.”
Technologists interested in applying for the grant program can contact grants@avax.network.
